Remodel for Reason
As we look around, we know that almost every person has been affected by the hardships brought on by COVID -19, but the ones that have been affected the most have been those on the front lines. None of us saw this happening, and most of us can simply stay home, watch more Netflix and complain about how bored we are. Not so much with the frontline workers. The ones that don’t get the option to stay home, that are the most risk, and are having to deal with the fear of being exposed on a daily basis. A friend of mine, a fellow painting contractor, from New York, had an idea a few weeks ago, to give back to those effected the most. The result is Remodel4Reason, which is encouraging painting contractors from across the country to donate services to front-line workers. We all are encouraged to give what we can. Walls by Design’s founder, Nick May, was asked to participate, and agreed.
We are asking our friends and customers to nominate someone they know is a front-line worker. Preferably a nurse, doctor, firefighter, grocery store worker, gas station attendant, or anyone that is still on the front line, for the rest of us. I would strongly suggest that they be someone that does not have the financial ability to normally pay for a project like this. We want to hear their story. Why do you nominate them? Who are they?
Walls by Design will be offering 3 projects for free up to $3500 to be used toward painting an interior: walls, trim, ceilings, or cabinets. We will provide all the labor, and materials, but Benjamin Moore has agreed to provide the materials.
Rules for Nominations:
- Fill out the form below or email nomination to email@example.com?????
- You may nominate yourself or a friend/family member that is on the frontlines
- Must live in the Denver and surrounding area
- Must explain what they are doing on the frontlines and include pictures for verification purposes
So please nominate a frontline Worker today. We will be announcing one winner on May 15th, one on June 15th, and one on July 15th through our Facebook.
